The glass fish are created by Iesty at the furnace side again without the use of any moulding.
It has taken over a year to perfect the technique for creating these unique pieces of artglass; each is constructed from 13 separate gathers of glass taken from the furnace at over 1070 degrees.
Each separate gather is shaped by eye, then applied onto the main form, re shaped then welded into position.
They can be purchased separately as wall mounted pieces, as freestanding sculptures or in groups on highly polished or textured 316 grade stainless steel panels.
