The Mailbox installation, in Birmingham, was Blowzone's first large scale commission and possible one of the most complex, containing as it did 40 hand sculpted glass hands, huge areas of folded and polished stainless steel, fibre optics and water.
Hand sculptures:
The glass hands are made in a similar way to the figures and fish but in a way are more difficult to make lifelike due to everyone's familiarity with the subject matter.
They can be purchased separately as wall mounted pieces, as freestanding sculptures or in pairs or groups on highly polished 316 grade stainless steel panels.
