The frog collection marked a point in Iestyn’s career where the emphasis moved from blown glass to sculpted glass.
They were the first range that fully encapsulated the desire to hand-build a complex form from a number of small shaped gathers; frog, chameleon, octopus and lizard forms were all chosen because the animal form related so easily to molten glass as a material; they were all 'sticky creatures'.
